Description
DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) is produced by the adrenal gland and it is a precursor to various hormones. As we age, DHEA levels and their beneficial hormonal actions decline. However, DHEA supplementation can help maintain youthful levels. DHEA levels should be measured by a physician prior to use, followed by periodic testing during use to avoid excessive amounts.
